Gary makes the point that most often, an entrepreneur is the only thing holding their business back. Brain asks Gary the tough questions about how an entrepreneur can look into themselves to improve. Gary’s advice is to rate yourself, then ask those in your life about how you can improve. He said, “Other people’s perception  is your reality.” 

Lead people by their strengths. Leading a problem solver with rigid structure isn’t going to help them grow. Gary gives numerous examples on how to lead those in your business and even your children.

Ryan Magin shares his start in entrepreneurship - selling candy out of his backpack at school! As he got older, he worked at Lowes while pursuing a professional BMX career. His entrepreneurship transitioned when he ultimately left his 9 to 5 to pursue a full time career in entrepreneurship. Ryan Magin taught himself how to create websites, create content, and started building his online brand on YouTube. 

Ryan eventually abandoned his YouTube channel to focus on his Instagram and TikTok accounts. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he focused on making one video everyday for 90 days. He got 30k followers in one month! In the last two years, Ryan’s has had clients like Ryan Pineda, Alex Hormozi, Jason Capital, Jordan Peterson, and more!

Alex Camacho, an investor based in the southwestern United States, went through the recession in 2008 and lost everything. After a mourning period, Alex didn't let that break him though. He's had nothing before, so he just had to start over and rebuild. This period of his life was when he had to make major life pivots and business pivots. Pace Morby never expects handouts and always tries to support those in his community. Pace had a negative experience in a real estate forum when attempting to do a wholesale deal. This motivated him and Jamil Damji to tour America and work on building the strongest real estate community ever seen. 

Pace Morby talks about how he was anti-mentorship. Many past mentors of his disappointed him as they were so far detached from their businesses, they couldn’t answer his questions about their businesses! Pace has since become a mentor, but only makes money through partnerships with his students. This motivates him to lift up his students.

Meet the Looneys - a couple of real estate investors and self-storage investors! The Looneys started real estate investing years ago while working their W2 jobs as a teacher and a software developer.
