Russ and Pete on the road again, as they enjoyed a return to winning ways on the road in sunny Hampshire for The Rebels. Worthing still have hopes of automatic promotion after this win and Dorking’s loss on the road.

The game, the team’s prospects and Albion’s glorious win amidst awful travel conditions for fans were all on the agenda along with further musings on the subjects of the European Conference League, AFCON and Chelsea’s ultra tame and gentle tap on the wrists for flagrant financial breaches.

In this episode Russ is flying solo, unlike all the actual seagulls!, swooping around The Stadium of Light at the end of Albion’s deserved victory on Saturday afternoon. Those gulls seemed so fitting a presence on the day the boys made it 3/4 wins in The PL.

In the Pod Squad this time to celebrate back-to-back wins AND the completion of doubles over two consecutive opponents were Russ, Pete, Andy K and making his BRP debut, Justin Brentnall. This week Pete, Russ and Alan were on hand to revel in the long awaited first win since early Jan, to pay tribute to the much loved former Seagulls Over London chairman Roger Bevan, who sadly passed away last week and to have an almighty rant about the latest batch of racist incidents and the badly handled aftermath of the Benfica / Vinicius Jr row.
