This week we start our series on Habits. I have done lots of research on habits and how they are formed. One book I highly recommend is:
The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business: Duhigg, Charles: 8601406381322: Amazon.com: Books
(I do not have any affiliation to this book or author!)
The premise of habit forming comes in a three-part series Cue, Routine, Reward. In this episode we start to talk about forming new habits and recognizing a habit you may want to adjust!
Next week we will discuss some daily morning habits I have formed, and I think may help you bring your best!
Hello, Bring Your Best Friends!

Please leave comments and subscribe so that you can be updated when we release new episodes!
This is the last of our series of end of year reflections. I spend some time discussing different options to create a vision board. I even challenged Hugh to share his vision board with us in the new year. There are many ways you can create a vision board so take a moment and listen.
Have a Happy and Healthy holiday and I look forward to Season 2 starting in January.
Here is another way I spend my time reviewing how my year went. I started this process about 5 years ago and have evolved the process. This is one of my favorite ways to think about how I want the next year to go. I shared with Hugh how my review is shared with my family and with my co-workers.
This is part 2 of the activities to do as a new year starts!
Hope you enjoy.
This week Hugh and talk about how to protect your time during the holiday season or anytime you have a lot of activities happening and need to be mindful about how you take on more things. For me this is really important as I think about holiday parties that perhaps did not happen over the last year and how busy weekends make a busy workweek ever more stressful.
This 3 part series really focuses on how I end my year and prepare to start a new year so join us and get ready to bring your best during the holidays!
Part 2....Let's talk about our version of effective communication. We talk about we think about effective communication. I describe two people who I felt were effective communicators for me and why. I also give advice on how to use this information for yourself or team members who are trying to find their communication style.
Take a moment and listen and let us know how we can be better communicators.

This week we take a little departure from management and teams and talk about vacationing with pre teens. I had an experience while on vacation with my family and I wanted to share some insights on things I learned. This is a short one and I hope helps those out there who are starting to plan vacations.
Please share with anyone you think might benefit from my thoughts!
This week Hugh and I explore a topic around communication and how to support your team members who are in need of communication support. We talk about prepping team members to present and how to encourage their presentation confidence. This is a two part episode as we will dive into what does it mean to be a good communicator.
You also learn a fun fact about Canada 13th year of high school!
As always please like or comment and share with those you think might benefit from our conversations.
Welcome to lucky episode 13...Hugh and I quickly debate the number 13, some fun facts about the number 13 and then dive into what if you find yourself in either the wrong job or the company you are with downsizes.
This was an interesting episode to record as I have only had an experience with one of the two experiences. Hugh unfortunately has been in both spaces and gave really great feedback on how he navigated both.
Hope you enjoy !!!
What If you are in a situation where you have an employee who is in the "wrong job" or if you are in situation that you need to reduce your headcount. Hugh and I jump into two situations I had where I had an employee that was in the wrong job and needed to find a new path. I also had a situation where I had to downsize and needed to remove an employee that I had been leading and saw great potential. If you are in one of these situations or just enjoy our banter please take a listen. If you want to updated when a new podcast loads please subscribe and leave a review.
