It was the bottom of the seventh, The hometown boys were down by 3.  The crowd of over 2000—- that had shown up to cheer on our mighty Conchs -were stunned. Maybe because as seasoned baseball fans we understood this is a game of statistics and the odds of us mounting a comeback we’re stacked against us.  But this team had been stacking wins all season - won the district championship and earned home-field advantage for regionals. They’d already won one -Win this game and head to State. Lose. Seasons over.

Let’s approach this holiday season with a mindset of gratitude and thankfulness. Tell the ones you see being awesome that you see them and appreciate them —-Remember the holidays can be a difficult time for some friends, and like my friend Lisa said I hope you can find a sense of peace this holiday season.

When was the last time you were sad?  When was the last time you said you were sad?  Those answers probably don't match up if your like me.  I was inspired by a conversation with a friend a few days ago.  She said, I'm sad.  I thought how brave is she.  Then a few days later, I wake up feeling sad and couldn't shake it so I took the day to spend feeling the feels of sadness, acknowledged it was there, and worked through it,  which included me telling you I was sad.
