    The NY Premiere of new play Ironbound opens at Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre tonight. By Polish born playwright Martyna Majok and Directed by Daniella Topol, the play stars Tony-nominee with Marin Ireland and is a darkly funny, heartbreaking portrait of a Polish immigrant cleaning lady for whom love is a luxury–and a liability–as she fights to survive in America.
    Cagney return engagement begins previews tonight
    The musical Cagney’s Off-Broadway return engagement starts previews tonight at the Westside Theatre. The show tells the life story of James Cagney and stars Robert Creighton, who also co-wright the music and lyrics with Christopher McGovern, Peter Colley wrote the book. Bill Castellino directs and Emmy-winner and Tony-nominee Joshua Bergasse choreographs.
    3. Casting
    Today, composer Jeanine Tesori who is the Encores! Off-Center Artistic Director announced that they will be holding open audtions for the teen cast of the concert production of Elizabeth Swa-dos’ Runaways, which was added to the schedule after her passing earlier this year. The auditions will be open to anyone 13-18 years old and will be held this Saturday, March 19th at Talent Unlimited High School on 6th Street.
