Amy Brandt is a Marriage and Family Therapist who approaches therapy from a place of experience from a life that has been filled with immense challenges and great joys. Amy loves adventures in nature, including running, skiing, hiking, and picnics. She has a deep need to create beauty wherever she goes and often does this through cooking, painting, playing music, and gardening. She has also traveled a lot in her life and looks forward to more travel as her boys grow up. She lives in a beautiful patch of woods with her husband, their two boys and a yellow lab named Boone. In this episode, we chat with her about some practical therapeutic techniques the everyday person can employ to help manage their anxiety.
