Have we misunderstood the fear of the Lord? Have we had a proper reverance for God? As I read Proverbs 1:7 I asked Myself these questions and reevaluated the Biblical Concept of  the Fear of The Lord.

The Babylonians are lifted up they believe themselves untouchable and in that pride, they build up the ground for their own destruction.

We are now at the stage where we are debating basic foundational truths. This is not an accident this is a willful effort to establish freedom from the constraints placed on us by God. Man is on a continual search for complete freedom, not in the physical sense but in the spiritual sense.

What you believe is not so unreasonable and your reliance on faith is not a crutch or handicap, it is in fact part of who we are as humans. 

Today I explore the speed at which the Neo Babylonian empire came to its end.

HUMBLED-. Made low; abased; rendered meek and submissive; penitent. This has been my experience the last two or three weeks. My view of myself isn't accurate when compared to what the Bible has exposed in me.

There is a concerted effort in my opinion to get christians to abandon the foundation of our beliefs which is the Bible. I can debate and make very good points but ultimately I have no power, what Gods word can and does do is beyond what I in my own power can accomplish.

“a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Many times the Bible is speaking but we aren’t listening. In this instance this truth was right in my face for years and i wasn’t paying attention at all.
