The Prophet Habakkuk was grieved at what he saw both from the Assyrian empire and the southern kingdom. He wants to see God intervene, and wonders why Gods hand has been stayed for so long.

Calling all The soldiers in Gods army not to be cliché but the battle is on. Whatever holds you back, whatever hinders you lets all pray together and get to work. I have in my few short years on this planet not seen so many people with so many questions on eternal issues. Being representative's of God  We should definitely be at the forefront of this war and battle for truth.

Today I cover my second substack article about those who walk away from the faith 

In a Seemingly odd turn of events God has a conversation with Jonah. In this conversation the mercy and long suffering nature of God is on full display.  

Why did the ninevites  repent so seemingly quickly?  why was Jonah so convinced that they would repent thus causing him to flee? I asked these questions and pose some possible answers in this episode.

God often brings the wisdom of the world low with very simple thing's. In this episode I make a loose connection to the books of Jonah referencing Balaam from numbers chapter 22. Also in this episode I bring to bear a current topic in the big picture of a greater biblical idea. 

These are just some of my fleeting thoughts loosely connected through the book of Jonah thus far. 

we see in the book of nahum what happened to Assyria after they went back on their word to God and returned to violence. Could it be that this would have been the fate of Assyria roughly 100 years earlier had they not listened to Jonah. How differently would things have played out? and what happened to Assyria eventually? int this episode I cover these question's.
