Brother is talking about a trip the whole family took without Sister, when he remembers he's mad at her.

Allison may or may not have made some bad choices and asked her niece to temporarily lie about it.

Jon makes a federal case out of it, and now Allison is glad they aren't spending Christmas together. 

Nuri left a message that shows she is smart and on point. 

Jon refuses to acknowledge his hot privilege.

Immediately after the recording ended Brother "remembered" he was on shrooms.

Sister asked Brother (off air) if he and Christina secretly got married, so once the mics are on he asks if she really thought they did. And we’re off to the races!

Allison points out all the things he did not tell her until long after they happened (including Jon being in the hospital with a broken neck).

 We get the story behind the proposal at a vending machine (A NICE ONE OKAY NOT SOME REGULAR JANKY HOTEL VENDING MACHINE) and The Sibs talk about Baby Moons and Barbapapa.

Listen, it's late, the episode is late, so here's the bare bones: we're both idiots. Geography? Not our strong suit. Remembering names? We do our best. Then we get into the election fallout and longtermism, and maybe it lags a bit. But it gets fun again when we talk about what we'd bring to Mars.

It’s a dramatic day for Brother, who is struggling with his roommates and sleeping practises, alleging treaties were broken. Sister soon cheers him up with her quick wit and numbers based humour. 

Today the Sibs are reminiscing about jobs: Jon started with a paperwork, and Allison allegedly worked at McDonalds. What seems like a benign subject matter leads them down a dark path of death and stalking, but they soon get back to the light. Jon shares a sweet story about an early job bagging groceries, and then naturally they talk about car accidents.

SQUABBLE ALERT: Was one of their father’s car new or pre-owned? Did the 10 disc CD changer in the trunk suck? WHAT MODEL NISSAN DID FATHER OWN WHEN???

A car accident on the freeway in LA, a car accident in Ottawa when Jon worked at a Butcher shop, and then a few more accidents, some where they were at fault, some where they weren’t. A message from Father reveals who was right about the order of the model of cars.

Brother and Sister are recording in the same room! Jon, his kids, Allison and their parents are all in an AirBNB, and The Sibs are EXHAUSTED.

As they recount their week, Jon recounts the mystery of the grilled cheese sandwich Grandpa wouldn’t make.

Allison’s dog Chili was injured right before she had to go away, and she and Jon discuss the difficulties of parenting and how Jackson and Chili are alike.

Then Allison remembers that one of Jon’s bullies (Listen to last week’s episode), had a younger sister who bullied her! They revisit last week’s conversation about how things would have been different if they had gone to the same high school, and Jon has a more optimistic view.

Then, of course, they discuss glycogen windows. 

LATE BREAKING NEWS: Sister pops in with a post-recording update and the answer to the mystery.

The Sibs dive right into their voicemails on this one!

First up: podmother Natalie Lisinka @nattysins has a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION for the Sibs that really asks the question "Who are you?" and reveals some important truths about both Brother and Sister.

Next Todd Saveland, Sister's school chum and the legal correspondent on her SiriusXM show The Breakdown, has a 2 part questions that has the Sibs examining their past, and how it effects their present. We learn Brother is a marked man with a troubled history, and Sister makes some questionable choices. Plus they need to make sure they are using "allegedly" right, or else Todd might sue them.

Then Taylor from the band The Motorleague @themotorleague tells us about the first time they opened for a band he loved, and asks The Sibs if there is anyone they've worked with that was a pivotal moment for them.

Then Jon has a meltdown about his looming travel plans, but Allison doesn't care because it means she gets to see her niece and nephew! The Sibs make some plans that frankly could have been sorted out off pod.

Brother and Sister reveal their long time business plan and sing the theme song, then they introduce their good friend, comedian and actor Dave Merheje! (Ramy, Sometimes I Think about Dying) davemerheje.com

Jon and Dave just finished a tour together, and they had the opportunity to push back against alleged authority and get real mouthy about it, and Allison can relate.

Jon points out to Dave that Allison has patterns of problematic behaviour, and then makes Dave try to name all the planets.

Dave shares his business idea, which frankly might be TOO good. We also find out what set Dave is reppin’.

Allison experienced the biggest flex in the world, and Jon thinks he might try it.

Jon and Dave prank one of Dave’s friends, but does she really even know Dave??? In fact, does anyone know Dave’s name?

Dave tells us behind the scenes stories from the set of Ramy (HULU), and Jon reveals why his best friend from The Lake (Prime) Terry Chen, is Allison’s new hero.

Jon and Dave travelled back in time on their tour, and Dave bought a hat.

They all agree Saskatoon is the hidden gem of the west.

After recapping their week (Brother is on tour and had some travel nightmares, Sister interviewed the stars of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menedez Story), they reminisce about a childhood vacation to New York City.

Alex from LA calls in to keep the Canadian musician talk going, leading The Sibs to realize they need to educate themselves about RUSH and Andy Shauf. But on a second listen, they notice an ominous undertone to Alex's words.

The ghost of Mrs. Wrinklestein has a warning for Jon, and naturally this leads to a squabble, because if these two can't fight over a message from the ghost of a fictional character, who can?

Brother is on tour in Northern BC and he is sitting in a creaky chair. Most of the creaks are edited out but there's some that couldn't be erased.

Although Jon is the primary caregiver to Emma and Jackson, he does in fact have a fiancée, and he suspects that she and Sister have been talking about him.

Before they get to the voice messages, Allison is excited to play him a special piece of audio she made for him. Then after a quick squabble rehashing previous arguments and Jon's relationship with a convicted murderer, they move on to their voicemail.

First message: Matt from Smithers, BC, was at Jon's show! He has kind words for Jon, and Jon tells us about the lovely town of Smithers.

Second message: Jon's secondary caregiver/financée/life partner Christina and daughter Emma, have a couple of requests.
