Paige Wolf was chosen for the Wyffels Corn Belt Award because she shows excellent character and dedication to her school and community. In high school, Paige participates in girls golf and FFA, saying she was able to connect with many different people. The relationships, teamwork, and support she has experienced in golf will stay with her and encourage her long after the season ends. Paige currently serves as her FFA chapter's treasurer and has had the honor to advocate and share stories of an industry that means a lot to her. Soon, she will represent Wisconsin FFA at the 99th National FFA Convention through Extemporaneous Speaking. Paige says she is grateful for the opportunity to represent and share her passion for agriculture on a national stage. Paige has been active in her community through her work as president of her 4-H chapter, FFA treasurer, and with the Wisconsin Show Pig Association, With FFA, she helped with an ag camp for middle schoolers and supported the livestock judging team by opening their show barn. She has also exhibited several times through the Show Pig Association, learning that hard work pays off. As a fifth-generation agriculturalist, the dairy industry has always been central to Paige's life. One of her biggest goals when she was younger was to become Alice in Dairyland, and now, her involvement in FFA has helped her take steps towards that goal. Paige says her favorite line in the FFA Creed as a senior is, "I believe in the future of agriculture." It is not just trusting that moving forward, food will be on the table. To Paige, it means believing in herself and her place in the future of the industry. Paige plans attend a 4-year university after high school to study agribusiness and continue her career in the dairy industry.

Hudson Fouberg was chosen for the Wyffels Corn Belt Award because he shows good character and dedication to his school and community. In school, Hudson is currently part of the varsity volleyball team, is president of his FFA chapter, student council parliamentarian, and student rep for the South Dakota High School Rodeo Association. Hudson enjoys having the opportunity to meet new people, compete with familiar faces, and try different things, such as basketball, track, powerlifting, and yearbook. Hudson has been a member of 4-H for 10 years, part of 4-H rodeo for nine years, and has held several officer positions. He is also a member of the Quanta High School varsity rodeo team and is a member of his local church's youth group. Hudson learned the value of agriculture from a young age, as he was raised on a farm. He says it's important that people understand how agriculture impacts them, even if indirectly. From the food they eat to by-products of animals to renewable fuels, it's important we not take them for granted. After high school, Hudson plans to attend South Dakota State University to study animal science with a focus in animal nutrition.

Logan Schmidt has been named as a Wyffels Corn Belt Award winner due to his commitment to his school, community, and the agriculture industry. Logan says agriculture is a way of life, a legacy, and supports prosperity in small communities. The agriculture industry is always improving, utilizing technology to feed the world. In school, Logan is involved in football, bowling, track, and band. He also participates in One Act, FCA, student council, FFA, and FBLA, saying he loved having fun and learning with his friends. Logan also supports his local community through his local church, helping with youth group and Bible study. He is also active in 4-H and volunteers with several community clubs. Logan plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study agricultural communications.

Alexandra Herget has been named as a Wyffels Corn Belt Award winner due to her commitment to her school, community, and the agriculture industry. Agriculture has taught Alexandra the value of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance. It has become her passion and has shaped her into who she is today. Alexandra has lived on a farm her whole life, showing cattle starting at age 2. Working with livestock taught her patience, responsibility, and resilience when things don't go as planned. She has found several opportunities through agriculture, participating in Dairy Quiz Bowl and Dairy Judging and holding leadership positions in Dairy Ambassadors, 4-H, and FFA. She enjoys educating others about agriculture, helping people understand the work that goes in every day to produce the food they have on their tables. Alexandra is currently involved in FFA as vice president and is part of her school's National Honor Society. She is also part of the track and field team, where she competes shot put at the varsity level. Alexandra has learned a lot through these experiences. Track taught her discipline and perseverance while FFA helped her learn how to lead, communicate, and serve others. She loves being part of something bigger than herself and the community she has found in each activity. Alexandra will carry the memories, relationship, and lessons with her long after high school, saying it has made high school more meaningful. Alexandra says community involvement has always been an important part of who she is. Within agriculture, she is heavily involved in 4-H, having served as secretary, treasurer, vice president and president at club and county levels. Alexandra is also a beef and dairy superintendent, helping younger members feel confident in their projects. She also volunteers at VFW Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, teaches religion classes, and serves as a camp counselor. Alexandra is also a student ambassador for Formidable, an organization that encourages and empowers young women. Alexandra plans to attend a 4-year university to study agribusiness and finance or accounting to give back to the community that has helped her.

Gabriel Rees was nominated for the Wyffels Corn Belt Award for his dedication and commitment in the classroom and on the court. In school, Gabriel is involved in football, FFA, and the radio & TV/broadcasting program. He enjoys the feeling of brotherhood and unity in these activities, proudly representing the community that helped raise him. To Gabriel, agriculture is the backbone of the world and without farmers, we would not be able to live how we do. He says that being part of the agriculture industry means he can help make a small contribution to the work of hard-working people. In his community, Gabriel is involved in the goat and poultry club in 4-H, his local church, and youth group. He also helps his family run their Airbnb/wedding venue barn. After high school, Gabriel plans to attend college to study in the medical or agriculture field.

Kasen Humke was nominated for the Wyffels Corn Belt Award for his dedication and commitment in the classroom and on the court. In school, Kasen is the varsity football team captain, varsity track and field team captain, and a class officer in student government. He also participates in the Unity Scholastic Bowl Team, FBLA, the Adams County CEO Program, and is part of the Veterans Day Committee. Kasen demonstrates his leadership as vice president of his FFA chapter and founded his school's FCA group. Within these activities, Kasen has found that he enjoys lifting up the people around him and making a lasting impact in his community. Each activity has taught him skills such as time management, accountability, and mentorship. Kasen has also developed leadership skills and learned how to work as a team towards a shared goal under pressure. To Kasen, agriculture represents hard work, community preservation, and education for the next generation. He has seen firsthand how important farming is to his local community and daily life. Kasen is also involved in 4-H and Illinois Association FFA, where he developed financial discipline and learned how to be responsible for resources and land. Agriculture has shaped Kasen's work ethic and inspired his future goals. Kasen has built a strong foundation in civic involvement through several community efforts. He has volunteered throughout his county with Wreaths Across America, the Illinois Special Olympics, Quincy Service Club Field of Honor, and the Adopt-A-Highway program. Kasen is also involved in Illinois Ag in the Classroom and mentors within his church as a camp counselor, small group leader for elementary school kids, and high school ministry student driver. Kasen plans to study finance and real estate at the University of Mississippi to later build a holding company and support young people in local communities.
