Landon Wallman was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the court and track. His favorite part about high school sports is making a lot of connections and friends, the fans, and the community support. Landon has learned from his family that agriculture takes a strong work ethic and perseverance as you never know what the next day is going to bring. Landon is involved in basketball, track, National Honor Society, Discipleship Groups, Student Council, and is senior class president. He also participates in several church and community activities. After graduation, Landon plans to attend South Dakota State University to major in ag business and hopes to return to the family farm after college.

Aidan Harbage was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. His favorite part about high school sports is the friendships he has made and getting to have fun with his friends. With living and working on a farm, agriculture has taught Aidan responsibility, accountability, and work ethic that is required to succeed. Aidan is involved in baseball, Global Impact Stem Academies, FFA, and has served as class president and executive team treasurer. He is also involved in numerous community activities. After graduation, Aidan plans to attend college for an animal science or range management degree and then will return to his family farm.

Eva Moore was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the court. Eva’s favorite thing about high school sports is friendships she has made with her teammates and the team bonding activities they have done. Agriculture means a lot to Eva as she has grown up on a family farm and learned the importance of what they do and how tough but rewarding agriculture can be. Eva is involved in volleyball, FFA, and youth group, and volunteers in many community activities such as packing Christmas boxes for Operation Christmas child, leading at VBS, teaching agriculture lessons to kids at the Learning Tree, and serving Thanksgiving dinner at the community center. After graduation, Eva plans to attend NDSU for a double major in agronomy and ag business. She would like to become an agronomist and continue helping with her family farm operations.

Thatcher Bochmann was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. Thatcher’s favorite thing about high school sports is getting to play the sport he loves with his best friends while the whole school is there to support them. To Thatcher, agriculture is what our country is built upon and it’s important we all recognize that and make sure those in agriculture are supported for the future. Thatcher is involved in football and track. He also participates in community activities such as volunteering at a local catering service and food bank, doing a yearly “Friends for the Poor” walk with his football team, and helping at his church. After graduation, Thatcher hope to stay involved with farming and pass his appreciation for agriculture on to future generations.

Andrew Hargrove was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. Andrew’s favorite thing about high school sports is the intensity and competitiveness. Being involved with agriculture has taught Andrew the value of hard work and that there’s no excuse for skipping out on work. Andrew is involved in football, baseball, National Technical Honor Society, and Athletic Leadership Board, and participates in community service opportunities. After graduation, Andrew would like to play a sport in college while studying to become an athletic trainer.

Taylor Kneubuhler was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the court. Her favorite thing about high school sports is playing with people who are also willing to put in the work to achieve a goal together. Agriculture has been a huge part of Taylor’s life, growing up on a farm and getting to show her friends all the different experiences is something she truly enjoys. Taylor is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, Athletic Student Council, National Honor Society, and 4-H, and she’s involved with her church. After graduation, Taylor wants to attend Purdue University to study agriculture.

Natalie Behnken was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the field and court. Her favorite things about high school sports are being with her friends while doing something she enjoys, competing, and challenging herself. To Natalie, agriculture means hard work, early mornings, sleepless nights, hard times, learning, advancing, and faith. Coming from a fourth-generation farm family, she has experienced all these things and has learned hard work is the way to success even if there are struggles along the way. Natalie is involved in volleyball, softball, speech, FFA, dance team, cheerleading, and National Honor Society. She also participates in many community and church activities. After graduation, Natalie plans to attend college for either ag education or ag business/real estate. She wants to continue her agricultural lifestyle and share how important agriculture is.

Dominick Clayton was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. His favorite thing about high school sports is that it’s not always about winning but it’s what you make of the opportunity. To Dominick, agriculture is everything because it’s how his family works together to make a living. Dominick is involved in football, FFA, and community service events. After graduation, Dominick plans to attend community college and then return to the family farm.

Ethan’s favorite thing about high school sports is the speed of the games and getting to use his talents, strengths, and leadership skills. Ethan loves living on a farm and getting to experience agriculture in a way that others don’t get to. It provided him the chance to get his hands dirty and learn skills for his future. Ethan is involved in football, wrestling, track, student council, trap shooting, choir, and the school musical, and he volunteers for projects through church and 4-H. After graduation, Ethan plans to attend school to become a power lineman.

Her favorite thing about high school sports is getting to play with people she has grown up with and getting support from her community. Agriculture has provided vast experiences for Sydney and has taught her the meaning of hard work and how important it is to do things correctly. Sydney is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, golf, track, student ambassadors, junior high mentors, SIAC Committee, FFA, 4-H, and Readlyn Community Club. After graduation, Sydney plans to play volleyball or softball at a community college while deciding if she wants to purse being a large animal vet or a career tied to animal science.
