As a Wyffels Corn Belt Award winner, Remyngton Fuller shows his passion and commitment through his involvement in his school, community, and the agriculture industry. Remyngton currently plays football and participates in FFA, saying he is a part of organizations and programs he would otherwise not be able to. With football, he has learned to respect his community and represent them with pride. In the FFA program, he has explored different career opportunities and educational paths. He has learned several new skills, such as public speaking, that have given him more confidence. Through these activities, he has become more prepared for life and been set up to succeed. Remyngton is involved in his community through the beautification department of West Frankfort, helping with their plants by cleaning pots and moving new plants. He has also assisted in various programs through FFA to give back to his community. Remyngton recognizes agriculture as a community of hard-working people who help the world function. From planting crops for food to providing different materials for everyday items, the agriculture industry allows life to be what it is today. After high school, Remyngton plans to become part of the IBEW to be an inside wireman.
