As much as they may deny it, the Bruins clearly struggle mentally when playing the Panthers, as evidenced by the undisciplined reaction to AJ Greer hitting David Pastrnak in the first period. 

This was a game in which the Bruins should have made more of a statement on the scoreboard, seeing as Florida was without Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk. It was fairly even 5v5, but special teams let the Bruins down, and a lack of scoring from the middle two lines is becoming a problem. You simply can't rely on Johnny Beecher, Cole Koepke, and Mark Kastelic to carry the offense. Seriously, that's what's happening.

Up next: a 3 game Western Conference road trip, where the Bruins will have a chance to build on a 2-2 start if they can figure out the offense and muster more traction on the power play.
