A later entry into the legendary George Romero’s filmography? There is no way this could be anything less than a masterpiece… This week, Kyle subjected us to 2000’s head-scratchingly-titled BRUISER, in which a meek magazine editor gets a chance to knock off everyone who has ever inconvenienced him thanks to his crappy boss’s wife and her low-level mask-making skills. While the movie itself isn’t great, it took us on a real journey discussing the underlying social issues it tried to comment on. Was it successful? Unclear, but at least we got to wax poetic about it on the show. Let’s get psycho(analyzed)!
