James and Timond are welcomed to the Edinburgh Bside headquaters and asked to show off their favorite records. As always, only tracks from the B-side were permitted.

Krywlad & Farrer (one of my favortie prodcuers just now, run the Percolate parties and the labels Repsies and Persies - worth checking out)
We were excited to see if their own taste in music was up to the standard of their bookings. Expect jazzy house, soulful house, disco and some part chooons.

  • Ep. 11 James Wright (Overground)
Watch the show (and the previous 10)on facebook - www.facebook.com/BsidePodcasts/
    Ep.11 James Wright (Overground)
James A.K.A Wrisk arrived at the Bside headquarters last night loaded with a bag of his favourite records from his extensive collection. James showcased some lovely tracks from only the B-side, as well as sublime mixing. He has a lovely taste in the heavier side of dance music, and a great ear for bookings as proven with his night Overground. I have been looking forward to getting him on the series for a while now.
Overground have been putting on some silly nights in Edinburgh over the last few years. From sold-out resident acid raves to huge bookings such as Mall Grab (well before he was as known as he is now) and Minor Science. Coming up they have booked Jensen Interceptor (who in my opinion is the best electro producer in the world just now) as well as Gesloten Cirkel.
    Enjoy.

Ep. 10 featuring Jess Cohen (Texture Edinburgh)
Jess is a resident for Texture and is recognised across Edinburgh's clubbing scene as one of the best. Not only in Edinburgh has Jess been at the front of the game, in November she held down a slot at Glasgow's infamous Lunacy. No better way to celebrate the 10th episode than getting her involved.
Playing only the B-side of her favourite records, Jess takes us on a journey, showcasing her love for the darker side of dance music. She plays some proper hidden gems, from atmospheric to alien electro.
