Coach Dave Jenkins is currently at Central Dewitt High School as a health teacher but coaches football at North Scott High School. Coach also serves as the NHSSCA State Director for Iowa. Previously he was the head strength coach at Bettendorf and Davenport West High School. Prior to being a high school strength coach, Coach Jenkins was also an assistant strength coach with Hendrick Motorsports. Coach started in strength and conditioning as an intern with the University of Tennessee football team.

In this episode we discuss ways to develop leaders, how coach acquires additional funding for his department, we talk a little about Coach’s level system, and Coach lets us know what’s new with the Iowa NHSSCA.
