Coach Tyler Morrison is the strength coach at O’Connell College Prep School in Galveston Texas. Coach has a unique position in which he is an exercise physiologist employed by the University of Texas - Medical Branch (UTMB) with the Rehabilitation Services department. He is contracted to the school splitting his time between O'Connell and the physical therapy clinic, where he has numerous other responsibilities.  Coach has been at UTMB since 2012 and O’Connell since 2015. Coach noticed the need for an established program at the school due to various injuries that could potentially be mitigated with a program that included more than just bicep curls and bench press. He established a solid relationship with the administration and made things happen from there!
