Brook Lopez hit a three with just under three minutes left to cut the gap down to 113-112 and Milwaukee took a 116-115 lead off of a Giannis alley-oop from Damian Lillard, but Anfernee Simons converted on the next possession to give Portland the lead for good. The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Denver Nuggets 113-107 in Doc Rivers’ first game as the Head Coach of the Bucks. Milwaukee raced out to an early lead before Denver closed the first quarter on an 12-0 run. With a halftime gridlock at 56-56, The Bucks were outscored 26-19 in the third. They cut the gap down to one in the late stages of the fourth, but the Nuggets kept the Bucks at a distance. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 29 points for the Bucks. The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 141-117. The Bucks took a 20-17 lead off of a Jae Crowder three midway through the first and never conceded. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 30 points. Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis each finished with 20 points or more. Milwaukee won the battle beyond the arc shooting 20-of-45 compared to 9-of-23 for New Orleans.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had his third triple-double in his last four games and the Milwaukee Bucks responded to the firing of coach Adrian Griffin with a 126-116 victory Wednesday night that snapped the Cleveland Cavaliers’ eight-game winning streak.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a triple-double and Khris Middleton added 26 points as the Milwaukee Bucks pulled away late and beat the Detroit Pistons 122-113 on Monday night.

Antetokounmpo finished with 31 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists as the Bucks won for the fifth time in six games. Brook Lopez finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Detroit Pistons 141-135 behind 45 points from Damian Lillard. After a strong first half, the Pistons struggled offensively to start the third quarter which allowed the Bucks to take the lead. Donovan Mitchell had 31 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers took advantage of Milwaukee being without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo to extend their winning streak to a season-best six games by pounding the Bucks 135-95 on Wednesday night.

Antetokounmpo sat with a bruised right shoulder, an injury that kept him out of the lineup for the first time in 29 games — the second longest streak of his career. The two-time MVP is not expected to be out for an extended period.

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Golden State Warriors 129-118. Giannis Antetokounmpo poured in 33 points and Damian Lillard scored 27. The Bucks outscored the shorthanded Warriors, who were without Steph Curry due to rest and Draymond Green because of return to competition conditioning.
