Bobby Portis and Giannis Antetokounmpo combined to score 20 straight points during a 25-0 spurt midway through the first half and the Milwaukee Bucks rolled to a 135-102 victory over the NBA-leading Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen had 21 points apiece and the Utah Jazz staved off a second-half rally for a 132-116 victory over Milwaukee, the Bucks fourth loss in five games. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 25 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the Bucks.

HOUSTON - The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Houston Rockets 112-108 despite 48 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo. He shot 16 of 25 from the floor with 17 rebounds. Damian Lillard was the next closest scorer with 18 points. The Bucks led early in the first, but Houston closed the opening frame on a 13-0 run and never looked back. They led by as many as 21.

The first battle between Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and San Antonio Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama exceeded the hype.

Antetokounmpo had 44 points and 14 rebounds and Milwaukee overcame an electric performance by Wembanyama on his 20th birthday to beat San Antonio 125-121 on Thursday night.

Wembanyama had 27 points, and Devin Vassell led the Spurs with 34.

Tyrese Haliburton had 31 points and 12 assists and the Indiana Pacers pulled away with a 47-point third quarter, beating Milwaukee 142-130 on Wednesday night for their fifth straight victory and second over the Bucks in three days.

Oshkosh (North) native, Tyrese Haliburton had 26 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds, and the Indiana Pacers beat Giannis Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee 122-113 on Monday, stopping the Bucks’ 15-game home winning streak.

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 119-111 in their final game of 2023. Giannis Anetokounmpo led the way for Milwaukee with 34 points and 16 rebounds. The Bucks trailed 59-52 at halftime, but outscored Cleveland 40-21 in the third quarter to eliminate a 15-point gap. Elsewhere on the scoreboard, Damian Lillard closed with 31 points. Malik Beasley and Khris Middleton also finished in double figures. Defensively, the Bucks limited the Cavaliers to just 14% from beyond the arc to improve to 24-8. The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the New York Knicks 129-122 on Christmas. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard each scored 32 points. For New York, Jalen Brunson led a group of six Knicks to reach double-figures with 38 points. The Bucks were outscored 72-50 in the paint, a season-high for New York.
