Budgets … are they necessary? I have a long list of items I want and/need (need is relative and very different between the opinions of my wife and I ) but I also have to get the bills paid, and put money in savings for fr multiple reasons.

They definitely are not fun though. Buying things is fun. Saying no to myself is not fun. Yet here we go.
