Strong collaboration comes from the interdependent efforts of the team. Recent research across multiple industries emphasizes the importance of not just learning what behaviors are important to collaboration, but also in practicing how to demonstrate these behaviors. It is experiential learning that enables both leaders and employees to work well together, learn from one another, and overcome the psychological barriers that get in the way of doing both. In this session we will talk about not just the “what” about collaboration skills, but also the “how,” and encourage participants to practice these collaboration skills within their own team. Through learning, practicing, and applying these skills individually and within a team environment, participants will get more comfortable learning and teaming together.
