Icebaths and cold plunges have a history. A big one, in fact. As far back as Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire, we can find texts pedestalising the regenerative effects of cold plunge. But in a more enlightened, information age, what evidence can we find to support this ancient claim?
We are currently in the midst of another wave of hype around cold plunge, with public speakers singing its praises. But one of the downsides to the information age, is that it's impossible to regulate or even identify misinformation as it is being delivered.
