On November 13, 2017, the room of Luke Stremholdt at the Wilmore Psychiatric Hospital in Manchester, England was found empty. Upon inspection, he left a letter on his desk recounting the childhood experience (and delusions) that earned him his place in the hospital. No one in the facility claimed to have seen him, except for the few patients who said they saw him outside their windows, attached to a series of strings and being lifted into the sky.

The small city of Distoria appeared directly after the Great Darkness of 1999. It is nearly the exact twin of the much older Common Castle, the two lying separated by only a small stretch of woods. Distoria differs from its sibling by means of a far more aged appearance and a sickly aesthetic that informs it with no small amount of menace.

An artist, with no choices left to him, visits in hope that the dark myths attributed to the towns are true.
