Everyday Burnout Conversations

Burnout Solo Session: The present moment is all we have

Listen Later

In this bite-sized solo session, I talk about how focusing and living in the present moment can help us prevent and tackle our burnout.

I discuss how dwelling too much on the past nudges us towards depressive feelings, while spending too much time fretting about the future can lead us to sit alongside anxiety and our anxious thoughts.

I share the beautiful and inspiring words of Emily Dickinson: “Forever is composed of nows,"  along with some easy present-moment provoking strategies that have worked for me.

If little ones are around when you listen to this, pop the headphones on, as there are some moments with fruity language!
