Are you living the #cookielife? During this episode of the Business Revolution podcast, I sit down with renowned entrepreneur Sol Orwell, the founder and CEO of Examine.come, to discuss exactly what it means to put an equal amount on your personal life as you do your business life.
Sol teaches us that even as a very independent business owner or entrepreneur, there is a tremendous importance in allowing your team to take the lead. Don’t let your ego get in the way of your business- in order to succeed you have to trust in your team to take charge as often or even more so than you.
This week we will learn…

This week, you will learn…
Matt Aitchison is a man of many talents. In this episode, Matt shares his unique story of success and teaches the importance of living to the fullest. In this episode, I speak with Digital Marketing and Sales guru, Jeff Leo Herrmann, about social selling. Jeff is one of the country’s leading experts on this topic. He shares with me his mission of helping business leaders to transform into thought leaders and to build global audiences. He is currently the Chief Revenue Officer for Fathom, a 20-million-dollar digital marketing and analytics agency.
Smart business owners understand that the traditional world of marketing has become less and less relevant (i.e., television and magazine advertising, online banners, and spam from businesses trying to sell you stuff). Gone are the days of leading with a volumetric prospecting approach and pitching one-sided value propositions. Nowadays, these approaches just drive people away! There has got to be a better way. Enter social media content marketing (social selling) – it’s the present, and here to stay! According to Jeff, instead of trying to pitch your products and services, you should deliver valuable, relevant, and consistent information (writing or video) using a social media platform on an ongoing basis, to attract customers, and ultimately retain them. Think of yourself as a teacher within your selected platform, and this will create opportunities for you. In order to rise above the noise of the feed, stop focusing on the end game of making money, but rather, focus on becoming more authentic and forming emotional connections. This is where the magic is, and your intended audience will take the time to learn your content, engage with you, and in due time, compensate you with their trust, credibility, and business.
Here are the ways you can go from a business leader to thought leader:
In this episode, I interview my mentor and business coach, Arman Sadeghi, who has been an entrepreneur since the age of fifteen. Arman is truly one of a kind. It is not every day that we meet a high school dropout with a background in neuroscience and molecular & cell biology from Cal Berkeley, and a Harvard Medical School education. Arman’s lifelong and profound fascination with the science of human behavior and how we can learn to make better (positive) life choices, has led him to create the Titanium Success Method. This approach or formula draws on the basic elements of neuro-linguistic programming and has literally helped thousands of business owners to reach peak performance in areas of business, health and fitness, relationships, family, time management, and spirituality.
Have you ever sat down to do an important task but then suddenly discovered that you were dusting your living room, answering email, or doing a load of laundry? Next thing you know, it’s the end of the day, and your important task remains unfinished. Procrastination is something that everyone deals with. In this podcast, Arman and I discuss why we humans tend to avoid doing the things we know we should do, even when it is clear that they are good for us. But, the point is not to totally eradicate procrastination, Arman says, it is to learn to first recognize that we are doing it, and then to reduce our reaction time to it, cutting it down little by little, until we take the action we set out to do. Over time and with repetition we can learn to consciously recognize our triggers when they are happening and eventually experience a “negative reaction time.” Also very important is just getting started. It is not about performance really; it’s about consistently taking action and letting things flow from there. Performance can be improved later on.
In this episode you will also learn why it is imperative that, when trying to make positive changes in our lives and avoiding bad decisions, you get to know yourself and what you care about, what motivates you, and how you measure your life. Having an emotional connection to your why can inspire you to pivot and take immediate action. Rather than merely surviving, you can thrive, when you know your why you find the courage to take the risks necessary to get ahead and stay motivated!
So check out this podcast and get to know the person who has impacted my business and personal life monumentally for the past two years, by sharing his guiding principles of holistic living with maximum efficiency and result achievement. Yes, you can run a successful business and enjoy daily fulfillment and happiness at the same time! And, there is the science to prove it!
In this episode, seasoned entrepreneur, speaker, corporate trainer, coach, and the founder of Peak Performance Nation, Thor Conklin, shares the tools, strategies, tricks, and psychology that he has developed for himself to help other business owners become peak performers. Today podcast producer, Sherwin Jenabian, turns the table around on Stephen Christopher and interviews him with a series of questions posed by Biz Rev Podcast listeners. Listen as Stephen shares some of his epic business failures and successes, which led to where he is today. He has owned and started several businesses in the last decade, one of which failed leaving him in over $100 thousand debt. Now, as you have probably been told, failure is life’s greatest teacher. Unfortunately, many corporate cultures don’t want to go there so they choose to play it safe making the same choices over and over again. However, Stephen, an avid student of personal development, didn’t shy away from the peaks and valleys in his careers; in fact, he embraced them all. Through being in the trenches, so to speak, he survived tough times and came through the other side with irreplaceable experience and perseverance. Since then Stephen has owned and operated two award winning online marketing firms based in Denver, Colorado. His primary goal in life is to selflessly add value to others and to help business owners achieve success beyond their wildest dreams. It is Stephen’s hope that this interview will leave you with some of his golden nuggets so help you avoid future mistakes.

He’s an author, coach, speaker, and founder of Gold Medal Service, a highly respected home services company, which, in the last ten years, he has grown less than one million dollars a year to 32 million projected for this year. Mike has also successfully mentored and coached many business owners by creating profitable business models and actionable processes for their business. His podcast, CEO Warrior, and his books, products, and events are dedicated to helping Service Industry owners. He shares with them the same blueprint that guided his business to 32 million. He transforms worn out owners into ass-kicking Warriors with a fiery passion for their businesses.
In today’s episode we talk about something extremely important that most of us entrepreneurs do not like to do and that is creating processes and systems. I speak with Jeremy Pound, founder of Juicy Results, who really does not enjoy creating systems himself but has realized the importance and benefits in his business. He is the master of creating systems and he shares some great tips and tricks on how to exactly create systems and what those huge benefits are.
In today’s episode we talk about coaches, mentors, and mastermind groups with Jim Palmer. I interview Jim who is a coach himself and runs a very sucessful mastermind group. You don’t want to miss this.
