Overthinking is something so many of us get caught up in. We become paralysed to our thoughts and it leads to inaction and playing small. I've been thinking a lot about my recent chapter in life and Ive become very proficient in making decisions quickly. It got me thinking about how overthinking is really just the inability to make a decision quickly. 

But why do we struggle to do that? In this IG LIVE + Podcast episode, I dive into the root: BEING AFRAID TO MAKE THE WRONG DECISION. When we are attached to an outcome or place extreme pressure on ourselves to get things right, we paralyse ourselves! 

The antidote to this is learning to not judge yourself, detaching the idea that there is ever a right or wrong choice and learning to treat everything as an experiment rather than a final destination.

Unfortunately, it results in spin out cycles, wallowing in self pity, unhealthy relationships with their business and toxic mindset patterns. In the long run, this is how coaches end up in plateaus they wanted to avoid in the first place. 

So... I share these with you with the intention that you would save yourself from going the long route. Develop these skills, live by these truths and I promise, building, growing & scaling your coaching business will feel a lot easier... and with much less bumps along the way.

I competed in my first ever powerlifting competition and it was one of the BEST. EXPERIENCES. EVER. Nothing went right in the prep yet I surpassed every goal & even placed on the podium. How was this possible? I harnessed the power of my own mind.

Doing this showed me the power of my own mind. I connected back to my WHY.

I was lifting for the younger version of me who never thought she could ever compete. Who was laughed at and teased for being too fat. Insecure and afraid of any platform.

This comp was significant for no other reason. I wanted to make myself proud. That was all.

Even when I was up against well prepared competitors, I stayed in my zone of genius

I worked on my mind, I trusted my skill & I just backed myself to execute well

There comes a point where often, your skill is not enough. You must have full certainty and belief in your ability to succeed.Without this, your skill is subject to crumble under pressure

So while my competitors were sitting in nerves or worryI chose to stay in POSITIVE BELIEF chose to reconnect to my ONLY WHY.I rehearsed in my mind the positive outcome.I generated the feeling of success in my body ahead of time & I surrounded myself with high vibes— aka Beyoncé blasting through my headphones

I found myself having more fun and genuinely enjoying the possibility that I could blow my mind

And the best part was, I didn’t use fear or nerves as a way to drive me

I used abundance, joy and excitement to fuel me. This is what allowed me to create CALM IN THE CHAOS.

Final week before we enter a brand new year y’all. Ain’t no better time to set clear intentions & commitments than NOW.

Don’t wait for the new year to set your intentions, set them ahead of time and enter the new year with intention. These are not your typical goals or resolutions. These are intentions for who you choose to become and the state you desire to embody.

Setting a clear intention will guide how you behave and what you do. Your intentions direct your results (whether or not you’re aware of them)

One of the hardest things to do in business is to be fully seen as who you are. 

Often, we can unconsciously begin hiding behind the brand, business and offerings we sell, reducing who we are to just a "coach" or "business-owner." We tell ourselves that our personal life is not interesting enough to share or that sharing our world (outside of business) is not profitable and as a result, we feel misaligned and disconnected to our brand and our marketing strategy. 

Today, I'm here to share a different message with you. What might it look like to be paid to be yourself? To attract aligned clients & close sales effortlessly, whatever your offer may be, purely because people are magnetised by YOU. No gimmicks, no crazy marketing strategies, just you as your powerful and magnetic self. This is how you get paid to be yourself.

Abundance mentality & how to think like a rich person

Before ‘wealth’ becomes a reality, it must be your state of mind first.

Funny, but this episode was actually inspired by my new-found obsession: The Kardashians. Before you judge me, let me tell you a thing or two I learnt about ‘abundance mentality’ first.

Abundance mentality is more than just positive thoughts, its an entire shift of identity. Thinking and acting like a rich person is the reason why I have such a ‘wealthy’ life. Whether it be monetary or emotional wealth, being wealthy materially is about having a ‘rich’ mindset and outlook in life.

In this week’s episode, I’m going to be sharing with you how to think like a rich person.

I’m ALSO going to be giving you examples of the exact opposite so you know to catch yourself when you’re in that scarcity mentality.

The question I get asked the most is “how do I build my business from more flow?” "What is the right balance of masculine and feminine?" The battle for so many coaches trying to build businesses with more ease is that it feels like a constant push and pull. It feels like some days are flowy while others are so exhaustive and draining. This is something I've experienced many times but I realise it is all part of the natural cycle of flow-based business building. 

The art of business building in flow is about activating your unique energy flow to get into a state of 'ease' and 'effortlessness.' It's building your business from your own perfect balance of both feminine and masculine energies. But the catch is... there is no one-size-fits all. 

To put it simply, if you’ve ever felt misalignment in any way in your business, it’s probably because you’ve found yourself leaning on either too much of your ‘feminine’ or your ‘masculine.” Building from flow looks unique to every person. Your zone of genius and what lights you up will differ to the next person. It’s important you acknowledge and understand that this is your super power.

Throughout my journey, I have found that any time I’ve started to build my business from hustle and NOT flow, results tend to come longer, the work seems to feel harder and business seems to feel more exhausting.

Flow requires a level of surrender, release & self-trust and this is the hardest part. But when you master it, you are able to operate in flow state more often.. Which then creates the results you want faster and with more ease.
