Busy Bitch Book Club

Well here we go with episode 7! I think I finally have set my expectations properly, and can get back to enjoying what little this shows does actually give us! I love that the women waulking the wool made it into the show and I'd love to spend some time with them. I also,  want to spend some time with the clans and find out if the continued feud is real or just for show!

What do you think? let me know by email or instagram!

Gahh I love it when book recs don't let me down! Now I know, we are only halfway through this book but I LOVE it! There just the right mix of action, adventure, mystery, and taking chances. Plus I can totally see how Vin is blossoming into a badass character and I just love when female roles do that.

Join us next week for the rest of Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson!

Well my life is truly holding up to the title of this podcast lately! Today's (super quick) episode has a clarification on our book for the week and an update for Men in Kilts episode that was supposed to air tomorrow...but won't be! I'll talk to you all soon :)

This week we read Hidden Figures. and it was not what I was expecting but it defiantly opened my eyes to a whole lot! Defiantly glad I read it :) And hope you enjoyed it too!
Next week we read Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn!

I was so surprised by this book! I honestly didn't see it taking the turn of events that it did. I was ready for a book with great sex scenes where I get to know Roth a bit better and start caring about them as a couple and instead I get a car chase and some murders. I also discovered that I have been missing out on action/adventure books...so look forward for more of those in the future!
Next week we read Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly

Hey! So I knew having a secret podcast was going to be tough, but up until now I really didn't have difficulty finding time to do it! Being at the in-laws proved this to be incredibly difficult, but I made it happen :)
Again, I thought this episode would be super cool and was let down. I feel like these episodes are just little teasers and I need so much more. With that said, it was alright.

Sooo we took a risk and read an author I have never heard of before. And I don't totally regret it! I had a difficult time getting through the first couple chapters, due to mystery mans choice in words and phrases...but was able to get through it, I wanted to say over it but let's be honest...I'm not over it.  The book as a whole was decent so we will continue to read this series. Next up, Beta by Jasinda Wilder!

I had such high hopes for this episode because I am all about this type of stuff.  Unfortunately I feel like it sorta fell flat...but I did enjoy what it had, and I don't regret spending 30 minutes of my life watching it...I just wish it had MORE! What do you guys think? As always, we can connect through email or on Instagram!

I couldn't be happier with my choice to give myself time to finish Circe! I really enjoyed this book, Madeline Miller is such a great author! I loved hearing myths that I know and love, but from another point of view :) I realized now, that I forgot to rate the book at the end, but I give it a solid 4 out of 5 WTC's!
Next week we dive back into the world of sexy books with an author that I know nothing about! There's a chance this might be bad, but it could also be great! So I'm willing to risk it.
Anyways let read Alpha by Jasinda Wilder together! I wanna know what you are thinking soo you can reach me below.
