Well here we go with episode 7! I think I finally have set my expectations properly, and can get back to enjoying what little this shows does actually give us! I love that the women waulking the wool made it into the show and I'd love to spend some time with them. I also,  want to spend some time with the clans and find out if the continued feud is real or just for show!

Gahh I love it when book recs don't let me down! Now I know, we are only halfway through this book but I LOVE it! There just the right mix of action, adventure, mystery, and taking chances. Plus I can totally see how Vin is blossoming into a badass character and I just love when female roles do that.

Well my life is truly holding up to the title of this podcast lately! Today's (super quick) episode has a clarification on our book for the week and an update for Men in Kilts episode that was supposed to air tomorrow...but won't be! I'll talk to you all soon :)

This week we read Hidden Figures. and it was not what I was expecting but it defiantly opened my eyes to a whole lot! Defiantly glad I read it :) And hope you enjoyed it too!

I was so surprised by this book! I honestly didn't see it taking the turn of events that it did. I was ready for a book with great sex scenes where I get to know Roth a bit better and start caring about them as a couple and instead I get a car chase and some murders. I also discovered that I have been missing out on action/adventure books...so look forward for more of those in the future!

Hey! So I knew having a secret podcast was going to be tough, but up until now I really didn't have difficulty finding time to do it! Being at the in-laws proved this to be incredibly difficult, but I made it happen :)

Sooo we took a risk and read an author I have never heard of before. And I don't totally regret it! I had a difficult time getting through the first couple chapters, due to mystery mans choice in words and phrases...but was able to get through it, I wanted to say over it but let's be honest...I'm not over it.  The book as a whole was decent so we will continue to read this series. Next up, Beta by Jasinda Wilder!

I had such high hopes for this episode because I am all about this type of stuff.  Unfortunately I feel like it sorta fell flat...but I did enjoy what it had, and I don't regret spending 30 minutes of my life watching it...I just wish it had MORE! I couldn't be happier with my choice to give myself time to finish Circe! I really enjoyed this book, Madeline Miller is such a great author! I loved hearing myths that I know and love, but from another point of view :) I realized now, that I forgot to rate the book at the end, but I give it a solid 4 out of 5 WTC's!
Next week we dive back into the world of sexy books with an author that I know nothing about! There's a chance this might be bad, but it could also be great! So I'm willing to risk it.
