Busy Bitch Book Club

Well friends, if you like music at all then this is the episode for you! And if you don't like music, that's okay too because we all enjoy watching people dance(the good and the bad)!  So double knot those dancing shoes of yours and take a trip with Sam and Graham through a bit of Scotland's music heritage!

So it happened. I got super busy (which makes sense, I mean this is the Busy Bitch podcast!) and reading took a back seat. Instead of getting an episode out to you all late, I decided to split the book up into two weeks! Today's episode is for chapters 1 through 13, and next week will be the rest of the book!

Circe, is a youth treated like shit by her own family. She finds her inner powers by mistake. and continues her trail and errors until they are perfected! Her story is interwoven with many myths you might have heard before.

This episode was full of kilts, sports, and a bit of history! I learned a bit about rugby, but most importantly their national field is called a fortress! How bad ass is that?

Are you ready to be taken back to your teenage years? Specifically that summer right between high school and college? For most it's a time to drink and hang with our besties before we all go off in separate directions...but that's not what Auden has planned. Thank goodness, her plans get derailed and a bit of fun is injected into her life!

Traveling is something I love to do and traveling to Scotland has been on my list of places to visit since before I read Outlander. So watching Men in Kilts, is part enjoyment and part research for me! This episode they take us around a bit of Scotland and give us a taste of food we can enjoy there and the variety that Scotland offers!  Oh and a wee dram of whisky! Cheers!
