What happened to Noach? In the beginning of the Parsha he is described as an: ‘Ish Tzaddik Tamim Haya Bedorosav…’ He finds favor in the eyes of Hashem. Hashem chooses to save all of humanity because if him. At the end of the Parsha, we find him drunk, exposed, rolling around in his tent defiled and emasculated by his own son.

This Shiur explores the deeper meaning behind the story of Noach planting a vineyard and drinking the wine.

Why does Rashi say that his profanity was the fact that he planted the binetoand not planting other things first?

Rashi says that the 10 tribes are hinted to in the story for they too ‘went to Golus on account of wine.’
