The BYU Cougars have Kevin Young leading the BYU men's basketball program and he now embarks on a critical stage as he builds a staff, begins recruiting his roster and finishes out his run in the NBA Playoffs with the Phoenix Suns, but Jake Hatch shares what the next steps are needed for BYU basketball to maintain their momentum in the Big 12 Conference.

Jake then delved into answering listener questions about what the next thing(s) BYU athletics should invest in on the campus of Brigham Young University (BYU), where he thinks things stand in the NCAA Transfer Portal for BYU hoops and BYU football as well as the impact that the new NHL franchise coming to Utah will mean for BYU, if anything.

Finally, the show wrapped up with some thoughts on the National Hockey League entering the sports market in the state of Utah and the impact it could have on the bottom line for Tom Holmoe and company as well as the unique connection and worldwide reach that BYU and it's fanbase and alumni base have that will help them as they build in the Big 12 Conference.
