In part 2 of this chat with the Great Frank Andrews, we dive deeper into the subject of self awareness on a personal and professional level.
What it takes to be great in the industry and how some just remain in the mundane and mediocre... how to question with logic in hand and try not to punch yourself into an argument about cup sizes.
All of these things are debated in several different perspectives here...
Enjoy folks.

Frank Andrews is a man!
A man on a coffee mission!!!
What that mission is, you will find out in these upcoming episodes on the show...
He worked in the corporate world, and then dipped his toes into roasting coffee at home and eventually dived head first into buying a little cafe that he failed to name (there is a story behind that...) and is now getting ready to open the doors of his second shop in Kings Cross Sydney.
So, enjoy the chat with the great man himself.

In the most gorgeous Circular Quay in Sydney, in the Gateway Building is nestled a lovely little coffee gem, known as THE ESPRESSO ROOM...
In this little den of caffeine, only the best is served in the form of ONA coffee from the bat cave of brilliance itself in Canberra, The ONA ROASTERY!
At the head of this distribution of this devilish dark brew, here in Sydney, is the gorgeous Freya Crickmore, a lady with an outstanding passion for coffee and knowledge and patience beyond my sphere of understanding.
It takes a special set of skills to manage a cafe, and the team that revolves around the success of said cafe must be well taken care of, and Freya has these skills.
She shared with me a few of her tips and tricks as a barista, manager and people person... I hope I'm using that term correctly...
And what it's like working along side coffee legends such as Sasa Sestic & Hugh Kelly and how in sharing the passion for coffee it builds a beautiful and solid community of well energised, happy people...
So please, kick back, chill out and enjoy my chat with Freya.

This is part 2 of my coffee chat with Rob Forsyth from Forsyth coffee in Naremburn in Sydney...
This gentleman has so much knowledge and stories about coffee, that I had to break this up into 2 parts and we had so much more to chat about... so hopefully I will sit down again soon and we shall continue the caffeine interrogation.
Here we chat more about the history of the barista competition and unions that were put in place to govern over all the judging and competing.
It gets a little technical and historical but I love the fact that I can share this, it is so full of coffee gold.
Thank you again to Rob Forsyth!

This is part 16 of a 10 part mini self help for Baristas when their in the heat of the action!
As Baristas... We love coffee, but we have a few pet hates.
These are words of wisdom to help you deal with those moments without getting too much blood on your apron.
Dedicated to the poor barista that has to deal with hearing other peoples issues and just patch them up by feeding them coffee and weed.
Anyway... enjoy!
Lotsa Love from Caffeine Mark

After a minor relapse, Caffeine Mark moved to a recovery centre instead of the rehabilitation centre and has started a new journey of his quest to beat coffee by playing the bassoon.
In this episode we also have a chat with his room mate and addict T-Bag Spice who explains how he helps service the bassoon.
Enjoy and share the love.
