The Lazour Brothers, writers, song-writers, musicians and all-around creative artists, are my guests in this episode of Cairo in Exile. They are better known for their play We live in Cairo, which premiered at the American Repertory Theatre, Cambridge, MA, in 2019. In this episode, the brothers, Daniel and Patrick Lazour, speak of their upcoming album Flap my Wings, which will be released on the anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution, Jan 25, 2011. The album features artists from around the globe including Ramy Essam, Emel Mathlouthi and others. It will be available on multiple music platforms. A sneak preview is available here.
