Recorded May of 2020 so I'm not too sure why I never ended up publishing this episode I think it was because of my own insecurities but that is beyond me now. I just wanted to highlight such an important person and at such an important time, properly. My good friend from college, Avalon, so kindly agreed to be my first conversation on this podcast which really helped build my confidence and skills but this is, I believe, the very first conversation I ever recorded for this show. SO.... this episode is a bit raw. And I try not to mince my words but honestly I had a hard time just getting my words out in the first place. I was in the process of recording a podcast about an entirely different subject matter but I had gotten a call from my mother that my father, who had gone to the hospital for x-rays, had just gotten the news that he has to stay there because he has pneumonia. So I am angry and upset. Because PRESIDENT Donald Trump and his wife, First Lady, Melania Trump recently tested positive for the SARS-COV-2 Virus. This is something America hasn't taken seriously and we will not take it seriously until our loved one's drop dead in front of us. FUCK YOU FOR NOT WEARING A MASK FUCK YOU FOR SELLING US LIES FUCK YOU FOR MANIPULATING OUR ELECTIONS AND FUCK YOU FOR LISTENING TO ME INSTEAD OF MAKING A CHANGE BY USING YOUR VOICE!

Hey guys welcome back to calm down Cole where I discuss why I have been gone and my new direction in life. this episode becomes really frank and I hope it sparks some intrigue amongst the listeners out there who may feel either similarly or different. I really do not care nor judge people's beliefs I only judge their actions and character. Be kind to one another we are all suffering our own struggles no matter what our background or ideology is. But when you actively still take and undermine those most weak, most vulnerable, you have no right in our society to continue having the power that you have. and we have every right as the people around you to make sure you stop our suffering. but we also missed accountability onto ourselves that are suffering is something that we can also actively do. Do something to change the way we feel. And if everything you do to yourself does not make you happy maybe things around you need to change. please make sure you are registered to vote I've already had issues even though I've been registered since March to vote via absentee ballot. They will stop at nothing until you are silent and if you listen to the song sound of silence by Simon and Garfunkel, I leave you with this line "and then people bowed and prayed. To that neon god they made." now I don't know what they were referring to whether they were talking about a neon sign or a television box set but I like to think that our "Neon God" is our cell phones.
