What do we do when we are faced with an overwhelming enemy?

2 Samuel 8:15"And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people."

Pastor Steve Price addresses Calvary Chapel Bear Creek. In this chapter from 2 Samuel, King David is in now in full reign of all of Israel. He puts in motion a Godly control of the Nation. This same stewardship of that which God has blessed a church with is to be done the same way. This is called Ministry.

David had taken full reign of Israel. The Ark was now located in the City of David. It was truly a glorious time for Israel and for David.

David desired to build a temple for God. God still had His agenda to be worked out through out-and building this temple was not yet in it at this time.

A very good story showing the character of God and in His dealings with us on a personal level. God does direct our steps: "We make our plans-but the outcome is in God's hands."

Pastor Steve Price begins by defining what the Glory of God is. We see in this story of King David in leadership how not to handle the Ark and its results and then also David getting beyond that mistake and failure and moving on and then his public display lived out in his worship.
