the gang is back to continue through the Tom Delonge and Travis Barker extended universe that began in the blink-182 episode. People don't realize how much the jump from blink's Take Off Your Pants and Jacket record to their beloved untitled album that followed actually makes complete sense as long as you listen to the s/t album from Box Car Racer that released in 2002.

BCR was a side project that Tom started with the intention of proving to himself that he could wright songs on his own without relying on the rest of blink. he forgot shortly after and got Travis to play drums just because he was the best drummer Tom had ever played with. so really, he just wanted to tell Mark to cuss of and not sing with him on an album. but then he forgot again and had Mark featured on one of the songs on the s/t record.

shortly after he realized the project was a failure, kicked out Travis and changed the name to Angels and Airwaves because his daughter's name is AVA or something.

Box Car Racer was an American Alt-punk band formed in San Diego, California, in 2001. The band was a side-project of Blink-182 members Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker, with David Kennedy of Hazen Street completing the band's studio lineup. Middle of Nowhere is the debut studio album by American pop rock group Hanson, and the first to be released on a major label, which was Polygram Records and Mercury Records. Released in 1997, it features slicker studio production compared to their previous indie efforts Boomerang and MMMBop. The band members were between the ages of 11 and 16 when it was released. The Used formed in the summer of 2000 and began composing songs without lyrics prior to McCracken joining. McCracken was impressed with their material, and wrote the lyrics to what would become "Maybe Memories". After recording a demo version of the song, he was officially confirmed as the band's vocalist. During the early days of the band, members suffered from poverty, homelessness, and substance abuse.

Their self-titled debut album, produced by John Feldmann, was released on June 25, 2002, to critical acclaim. The album featured the singles: "The Taste of Ink", "Buried Myself Alive", and "Blue and Yellow", with all three entering the charts and the album being certified platinum. They then broke into the mainstream with their sixth, Sing the Sorrow (2003), which peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and remained on the chart for 51 weeks. Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a 1988 American science fiction comedy horror film written, directed and produced by the Chiodo Brothers and starring Grant Cramer, Suzanne Snyder, John Allen Nelson and John Vernon. It is the only film written and directed by the Chiodo Brothers, who also created the practical effects and makeup. It concerns evil extraterrestrials who resemble clowns arriving on Earth and invading a small town in order to capture, kill and harvest the human inhabitants to use as sustenance.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space was filmed in Watsonville, California and at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The film utilizes practical effects, including rubber suits. The score was composed by John Massari. The film received generally positive reviews and has been considered a cult classic.

Sequels have been in development hell since the original film's release. Stephen Chiodo stated in 2016 that he hopes to produce three additional films, or possibly a television series.
