Revelation can sound a bit the same when you read about the 7 seals the 7 bowls and the 7 trumpets. But no mater how repetitive things seem … we are heading to the culmination of all things in Judgement.

In the first full-blown vision in the book of Revelation John looks into the throne room of heaven. God is on the throne ... but there are also some surprises.

These chapters contain notes to each of the 7 churches that the letter of Revelation was sent to. But these letters are for us to listen to, be channged by and learn from. "Let him who has ears to hear ..."

Revelation opens with a stunning vision of the all powerful Jesus walking among his churches. Jesus (not Roman rulers or anyone else) rules over all.

God provides priests & prophets for his people. We need to trust in his ultimate prophet/priest Jesus.

If you’re in God’s kingdom, live like you are by following the king, worshipping only God and obeying his authority.

Doubting the resurrection is not know. Jesus own friends were doubting it on the day he rose from the dead. But the disciples were convinced that he did rise ... and they were witnesses to the fact.

Why do we love reality TV? I suppose it is because we get to see people just like us ... with all their faults & failings. Easter is the reminder that God has dealt with our faults & failings through the death of his son on the cross.

Paul finishes his letter to the Philippians and thanking them for their ongoing support for Paul. But we also see Paul outlining some important financial principles for Christians.

This short passage is really at the heart of Paul's letter to the Philippians ... a plea for unity. Two members of the church, whom Paul says had "contended at his side for the sake of the Gospel.
