These fearsome little beasties are said to be 2-to-3-foot-tall with pointed noses and ears, and a thick patch of porcupine-like quills covering their backs! We examine this legend through the continued adventures of our intrepid investigators, Gone Ghostin’ Paranormal!

The Rake is a creature believed to be a humanoid in appearance, with several references in folklore and horrific urban legends, originally appearing on the internet as a Creepypasta. The creature reportedly attacks humans for unknown reasons and often causes its victims great psychological trauma. Several theories as to its development Rake point towards internet threads and online discussions; however, others believe alcoholic delusions fueled the idea of the creature before then. Pale Crawlers, also known as ashmen and palemen are humanoid beings known for their distinctive pale, hairless, ashen skin and emaciated appearance. They average 5-8 feet in height upright, but are typically seen crawling on all fours in a hunched position, giving them the name "crawler". How are these two seemingly disparate entities related? Are they related? Either way,

Edward Mordrake is the subject of an urban legend who was born in the 19th century as the heir to an English peerage who was born with a rare form of Craniopagus parasiticus called Diprosopus. He was born with a fully formed additional face on the back of his head. According to legend, unlike confirmed instances of this malformation, the face appeared to be sentient. It was reported that it could whisper, laugh, cry, and frequently ridicule him. Mordake repeatedly begged doctors to remove it, claiming it whispered bad things to him at night. Tragically, Mordake committed suicide at the age of 23. Was this a case of two souls in one body or dissociative identity disorder? Either way, there is one thing that it certainly is.

As detailed in her in 1996 book Encounter, Ms Cahill's case had all the hallmarks of the classic alien abduction story of the era: lost time, strange spaceships, bright lights, inhuman creatures and inexplicable marks on her body. But her story had something other alien visitations didn't. Independent witnesses who could back up her story. Along with her then-husband Andrew, who was in the car with her on that fateful night on Melbourne's south-eastern fringes, there were reportedly four other people in two separate cars who would be able to verify her otherworldly claims. Because of its multiple witnesses, the incident was hailed as the "holy grail" of alien abduction stories by UFO researchers and enthusiasts. We’re talking five different stories told by at least seven individuals interweaving and overlapping. Join us as we explore one of Australia’s most lauded ufological mysteries.
