While the coronavirus pandemic has forced thousands of businesses to lay off workers or even shut down, one area of the economy is booming. Multiple media reports indicate Americans are turning to psychics, astrologers and tarot readers to cope with the pandemic.

A great person to discuss this is Michelle Welch. She spent 27 years as a trial attorney and law school professor before deciding to pursue her passion as a psychic medium.

She's also the owner of SoulTopia, a growing chain of metaphysical stores headquartered in Dallas. Michelle tells me her business is up 68-percent compared to last year. She's eyeing three new locations to open a new shop in the next few months.
