Mrs. Brenda DesOrmeaux joins us this week in Holy Spirit Studios, and WHAT A WOMAN, y'all! Founder of The DesOrmeaux Foundation, Mrs. Brenda, along with her main media man, Tom Viator, join us to share the story of the Foundation and how it has impacted our Acadiana community over the years. Their mission is simply beautiful; they are dedicated to defending human life at all stages. From the infant in the womb, the elderly, the handicapped, the homeless and all who are threatened by our present culture of death to defending the sanctity of marriage, man and woman, and promoting chaste relationships as the norm in our culture.

There are so many ways to support their ministries like the St. Marguerite Maternity Home, the Women's Center of Lafayette, Baby & Me Boutique and MiMi's attic, as well as their newest ministry, Theology of the Body Community of Acadiana.

Angie Ramagos joins us in Holy Spirit Studios. Her story came to us by way of a mutual friend who witnessed God’s immense graces being poured out on the Ramagos family after the unexpected and tragic loss of Angie’s oldest son.
As Angie leaned into the peace of God's presence during an unimaginable loss, she’s reminded there’s nothing typical about her and how she handled the loss many of us fear most. Angie’s faith and God’s grace truly shine amidst this dark season of her life, bringing her and her family closer together and closer to Jesus.
We hope you will tune in and leave this space more hopeful and believing that the light really does shine through the darkness.

Fr. Blake Dubroc is back in Holy Spirit Studios, y'all! It has been 3 years, almost to the day, that we first interviewed the man who has played a substantial role in our faith journeys. His delicate demeanor is, no doubt, a fruit of his devotion to our Holy Mother Mary.

Y'all, Logan Simon is here and he's dropping bars. This young man brought an unexplainable light into Holy Spirit Studios when he joined us over his spring break. You read that right. Logan graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic High School last week; and this incredibly humble, holy,  and heroic man spent his senior spring break with us. His perseverance to pursue Heaven over earth, his humility, and his pure faith and love of our Lord will inspire you to live a more joyful and authentic life...being exactly who God made you to be.
There is not a doubt in our minds that the Lord has BIG plans for this guy. Join us in praying for him and for his mama, Ms. Joy, as Logan enlists in the U.S. Air Force and goes on to set the world ablaze!

" We, too, in witnessing to others, must proclaim the newness of relationship with Jesus Christ. But if we are going to be effective, we must show how Christ is the fulfillment of our friends' longing. Pope John Paul II pointed this out not so long ago:
'It is Jesus in fact that you seek when you dream of happiness; he is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; he is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is he who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is he who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is he who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle. It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.'
Because he loves the other person, the disciple begins where the other is and tries, by God's grace, to walk with her on the path to belief in Jesus. This is how disciples share Jesus with others."
