John Ray's faith was formed at an early age when his parents both went through a conversion.  Looking back, he considered himself to be a "cultural  Catholic", until an encounter at a Stubenville Conference deepened his faith. He left us totally inspired and intrigued about  the Charismatic movement of the Catholic Church and it's importance in our faith community.

John Ray creates a sacred space for us all to share about recent encounters we’ve had with the Lord, God’s immense mercy, and the rewards of pure blind faith.

What an absolute treat to be joined by a fellow nerd and all around wonderful holy human. We welcome Fr. Travis Abadie to the podcast this week and Alert...Alert...we get geeky about all kinds of good stuff.

Listening to his story, it was obvious to us that Fr. Abadie was destined to become a priest. Making the executive decision to get baptized as a child and then regularly attending mass as soon as he got his driver's license,  His loyalty to God is even thicker than his loyalty to Costco.

He keeps us laughing and learning throughout the whole episode. You can't help but fall more in love with the Lord listening to this guy. Tune in!

Deacon Big Mike Vidrine is in the house this week, and we loved every minute of getting to know this holy human!

A native of Palmetto, the strong foundation of his faith was laid at a very early age. Deacon Michael recounts the memories of praying the rosary nightly with his family and the vital importance his parents put on personal prayer with the Lord. He brings these lessons into his ministry as a Deacon referencing that just as food and water are necessary for survival, relationship with God, going to Mass, and receiving the sacraments are necessary for the survival of our souls.

David Wooton, a native of Lafayette and author of Meeting Homeless Jesus: A Journey From Believing to Knowing, shares a piece of his story with us!
