It's a good thing there is a day off in between playoff games. Hopefully all of you used that time to decompress and take some meditation classes. But be prepared for more of the same in Game 2. Mike Smith will in all likelihood get the start for the Oilers after getting pulled in Game 1. For the Colorado Avalanche it is a little less certain. We don't know the full extent of the health of Darcy Kuemper. We do know he took himself out of the game due to blurry vision. If that has cleared up or not, we are not getting answers from Coach Jared Bednar.

The big play that was all the talk Wednesday was of course the Cale Makar offsides call. Oiler fans didn't like it, but the rest of the hockey world seemed to come around on the reasoning behind why the goal stood. Will that play stick in the minds of Edmonton and affect their play in anyway?
