She and her husband took a leap of faith, giving up a life in which they worked corporate-type jobs, and lived beyond their means, to move to a farm with their 8 children, and sell goat soap. People told them they were crazy to take this risk, but they are now enjoying a life where teaching their children important family values like love, integrity and kindness take priority over material wealth.
