The Cancer New Moon Solar Eclipse this weekend is special, as it is the last Eclipse of a series in the sign of Cancer – fateful realignments with home and family. In order to fully understand the invitation of this eclipse portal, it is important to connect with the Gemini North Node 29° and it’s relationship to the Cancer New Moon 0°.

🦋 The Butterfly is a beautiful image to help connect us to Gemini. The Butterfly is a sacred symbol for Gemini: light + ethereal, Divine Messenger, social and connected to the immediate surroundings, and an migration activist symbol of freedom of movement + hope (check the ♊️Emoji Story Archives for more on this). 🦋 Butterfly is also a sacred symbol that helps to build a bridge to understanding our next sign in the Zodiacal Wheel — Cancer. Butterflies are often used at memorials and funerals to commemorate the passing of a loved one. Even at my own grandmother’s funeral, we all wore Butterfly pins to connect us to her spirit and love of nature + gardening. Cancer connects us to our grandparents, messages from ancestors, and the grief of loved one’s passing.On this Cancer New Moon, feel into the invitation of coming Home to yourself, while also sensing into the initiation of fateful realignments with the Gemini North Node.
