The group talks about the individual and societal repercussions of pornography; the history of how body objectification came about; pornography’s role in fostering same-sex attraction; and how Christian parents can initiate healthy conversations with their young children in order to develop a proper view of the human person from a Scriptural perspective (drawing on Pope St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body).

About Steve Pokorny

Steve Pokorny founded Freedom Coaching in 2011, in response to a personal experience of healing. Like many men, Steve was exposed to pornography at a young age and struggled with pornography compulsion for many years before encountering freedom. Through Freedom Coaching, Steve now offers that same freedom to others.

Steve holds an MA in theology and a specialization in catechetics from Franciscan University of Steubenville, as well as an MTS from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington D.C. Steve is a Certified Life Coach from the Life Coach Training Institute, author of Redeemed Vision: Setting the Blind Freed from the Pornified Culture, and internationally-known speaker. He and his family live in San Antonio, Texas.
