Interview: Parmita Katkar Parmita Katkar was born and raised in India. She was crowned Miss India Asia Pacific in 2003. Parmita was a Bollywood actress, who acted in almost a dozen movies, and would go on to host eight different and diverse talk-shows, with themes in entertainment, comedy, and celebrity gossip. In 2008, She relocated to New York. Parmita pursued photography and successfully graduated from the New York Film Academy at the top of her class. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with Bobbie Brown company as a national makeup artist.
