This is a warning to artists, designers, creatives and makers all over the world. You've probably seen what the US President has done to Canada and Mexico over the last few weeks, ripping up the very free trade agreement he renegotiated and signed with our two countries. He attacked Canada economically. He declared war, a kind of economic terrorism. He insulted Canada and Canadians and continues to do this daily. He disrespects who we are as people. He threatens to take over our country, take over our resources and enslave our people. America betrayed us.

Now he has his sights set on Denmark, on Europe, anyone really, except other dictatorial regimes.

Even though the massive USA tariffs have been paused for 30 days, this is no comfort to Canadian artists and makers, and not enough stability to plan for business. My US market, my largest, is closed. Yours will be too, unless you bend over.

Due to our circumstance in Canada, we have no real government as our PM has resigned. It is very messy here politically at the moment, at the worst possible time. You in Europe must brace yourselves for the lunatic America. Watch closely what happens to us in Canada and Mexico. Learn from it. Perhaps much of the world can unite to grow trade around the United States while they sort out their mental illness. I offer some advice in this podcast on how to do that.

America can't be trusted.
