This week in The Story we move into Genesis 2 and 3. We see how sin came to be and how we began to choose created things over the creator. Romans 1:25 reminds us of how often we fall into the Lie that we are to worship creation instead of our Mighty Creator.

God's Story begins in Genesis 1. We often skim over this Chapter and think it is a great "Sunday School" lesson, but don't understand the idea of God's purpose for his Creation. We can not understand the Gospel without first understanding that when God created the World it wasn't for our pleasure and happiness, but His. BIG IDEA: The reason God created the world and everything in it was for His Happiness.

Introduction of a new series called "The Story." We will be going through the Old Testament and finding the cross in the foundaitonal story of God's Creation.

The second week of "Reflection" focused on the Gospel. And the idea that our local churches should reflect the gospel, not religion. We spent much of our time looking a the difference in religion and the Gospel

Durint this two week series called "Reflection" we are looking at the purpose of the local church. The first week dealt the one of the main purposes of the local church is to reflection God's Reconiliation through Christ and the cross. Not only should the church reflection our reconiliation with God, but each other as a community of faith.

Executive Pastor, Chris Barrineau, reveal some amazing numbers on how Capstone has tried to lead to by example in how she has ben generous to others with what we have been given.

This is a new series we started to talk about what it looks like live a Generosity Life. Most of the time we think that when we talk about being Generous it only applies to our pocket books. But we see Jesus and the New Testament church revealing that Generosity is more than just money, but a way a life.

Following the Harvest sermon we looked as Harvesters what our responsibility is to the Harvest. We opened John 15 and Galatians 4 to see the Fruit of the Harvest and the importance of Multiplication.

Matthew 9 and John 4 we see Christ's heartbeat for the Harvest. We see that they have Value, are Ready and needs to be an Urgency. We often think that Salvation revolves our words or knowledge. But in reality is that God is all ready at work in the Harvest and is asking us to join him there to help reveal the Gospel to those who are in need of Salvation.

This was a Father's Day message to all men. Scriptures is pretty clear the men God has called us to be. And when we allow God to use us and give our lives to Christ we are truely an unstoppable force.
