Seth Jarvis notched his first career NHL hat trick, Andrei Svechnikov dished out (some big hits and) 3 assists, and Antti Raanta was excellent in net as the Hurricanes smacked the Canadiens, 6-2, on the night the Canes inducted Cam Ward into the team's Hall of Fame. It was the second straight win for the Hurricanes who padded their Metropolitan Division lead to 5 points as the Devils were losers in St Louis on Thursday night.
