In this episode Darrell and Mike talk recovery. Recovery entails quite a few aspects and Darrell breaks them down as Mike learns how good of a bad example he is for a few things when it comes to work out habits, diet and sleep. The guys have a lot of fun as always!

San Francisco 49ers Director of Prep and Fan Engagement Jared Muela joins Coach Darrell, Rachel and Mike on this episode. Jared is one of Darrell's best friends and as they talk a walk down memory lane they also discuss contemporary strategies to promote youth football. The 49ers are one of the best in the business when it comes to community and we get to hear about some of what they do through Jared.

Coach Darrell and Mike discuss the importance of lifting. Darrell discusses his thought process and design behind his programming. A core element is lifting. The duo talk about what resistance training (lifting) does for a person in terms of benefits on a daily life basis.

Before the pandemic, The East Bay Beer Runners were gathering in groups of up to 100 running and beer drinking community members. They met at bars or breweries, go for a run that loops back to the bar or brewery and then hang out and of course get some beers in. Ramon is one of the Co-Founders. Darrell and Mike talk with Ramon about the dynamic and interesting combination of beer and running. Ramon also explains how the club began and how it has evolved into what it is today. This was fun episode and a nice change up from our other topics!

Darrell, Rachel and Mike bring in a very special personal guest, Darrell's friend for over 20 years, Officer Keith Scott. Officer Scott, Keith, answers questions about his career, whether it's changed over his fourteen years and addresses our contemporary social climate. We appreciate Keith's openness and honesty about what's going on right now and his perspective. Darrell and Keith talk about how they met (sprinklers aren't drinking water fountains, Darrell).
