Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Psalm 55:22 which says "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."

"We care a lot. We care about a lot of things. We care about what we are going to wear. What others think. How many likes our next piece of content will get. We care about what car we are going to drive in, and the size of the house we live in. 

There are a lot of cares in the world, and sometimes we drown in them. As I prepare for the new year, and I look at the things I want to achieve, I want to be careful that I am set on producing righteousness strides in my health, career, finances, and spiritual life. 

I want to be the kind of person that cares about what really matters. I want to care about the actions I take, and the words I write and say. I want to care about who’s life is impacted because I was obedient when God asked something of me. I want to care about the ripple affects of every dollar donated. I want to care that my time here is not wasted but truly enriches the lives of others. I want to care about the food I put in my body, not because I want to look good in a dress, but because I want to live a healthy life."
